About Alcomato

Alcomato is a BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) calculator that uses a scientifically-backed simulation model to estimate your blood alcohol level over time.

Our calculations are based on the Polish stomach-buffer model, which simulates alcohol absorption from the stomach into the bloodstream at a maximum rate of 10 grams per 15-minute interval. This provides a more realistic BAC curve compared to simple Widmark-formula calculators.

The calculator takes into account your sex, weight, height, age, and alcohol tolerance to compute your Total Body Water using the modified Watson formula, which directly affects how alcohol is distributed in your body.
